About Us

Established in Sydney, Australia by a small group of orchid enthusiasts in 1967, the Five Dock RSL Orchid Society Inc. brings together people interested in the cultivation of Orchid plants.
Our society meets once a month, on the 4th Thursday of every month except December, which includes informative talks and a range of orchids on display.
Our membership includes people from various backgrounds with experience ranging from beginners to advanced hobbyists.
Joining the Five Dock RSL Orchid Society is inexpensive and members can participate in orchid shows and receive a monthly bulletin produced by the society.
Along with results from our friendly competition, the bulletin contains cultural notes and other information of interest to orchid hobbyists. Membership is open to anyone, and all are welcome!
Visitors are most welcome.

Meetings

Our society meets once a month, on the
4th Thursday of every month except December, at Concord Community Center, 1A Gipps Road, Concord.
Meeting starts at 7.40pm.
The Hall is open from 7pm for benching of plants.
